In Our Latest Ofsted report we are pleased to announce that Crank Day Nursery received a rating of:

Good

Ofsted Says: Children feel secure at this nursery. They know that staff will meet their needs. Even the youngest children communicate effectively.

Routines are very well embedded.

All children make good progress in their development. Staff recognise how to adapt the curriculum to meet the individual needs of every child. They extend challenge for those who are excelling and concentrate on children’s individual next steps in learning within activities. This leads to high levels of engagement and concentration from children, who thoroughly enjoy their play and exciting learning.

Diversity is an integral part of the curriculum. 

Parents feel supported and value the ‘welcoming and safe’ atmosphere at the nursery.

Every day we have arrived and been greeted with a lovely friendly, caring face, which means so much to a working parent.

We will never be able to say thank you enough for the truly wonderful experience you have give M. As parents the most important thing has always been his happiness and from the very beginning we could see how much joy radiates from the nursery. I hope you all know how fabulous you are. 

Thank you to everyone who has cared for me, fed me, cuddled me, made me smile laugh and chuckle, picked me up when I fell down and made me feel welcome from the day I joined.

M is excited every day coming in to Nursery, he has had the best experience and we are so sorry he is leaving. It is such a wonderful place and it's because each and every one of you care so much.

We are over the moon at how much A has grown in confidence and know that he is starting school in a much stronger position. A talks about nursery, the staff and his friends with great enthusiasm and affection and we can't tell you how happy this has made us! You are all stars, and we will miss you.

Donna needs to write a cookbook and share her magic of how to get children to eat. Neither A or C will ever forget 'Donna's Dinners'.

Thank you for making the nursery experience a brilliant one and for giving us such fantastic memories. The children (and parents) are very lucky to have you all.
